After lunch we continue through to Peterborough and visit Steam town. You’ll be transported back to the glamorous 1920’s when train travel was the most elegant way to get around - passengers settling themselves into a First Class Lounge car, sipping a long, cool drink while entertained by the on board pianist. After we make our way to the motel and freshen up before dinner. We then board the coach and make our way back to Steamtown for the evening for the Sound and Light Show, You will sit comfortably in a restored 1916 historic rail carriage which is placed on an 85 foot long, 3 gauge turntable. Day 2 : Peterborough - Jamestown - Peterborough
We board the coach and make our way to Jamestown for the Jamestown Air Spectacular. Today will be about viewing the air displays by pilots and aircraft. While the organisers are reluctant to release a list of all planes planned to appear due to the possibility of late changes, it is likely you will see a good range from Tiger Moths to P51 Mustangs, Yaks, Marchetti  jets, a Hudson bomber, Cessna’s and a Robinson R44 helicopter. Of special interest will be perennial favourites the Roulettes, the Royal Australian Air Force's formation aerobatic display team. The Roulettes were formed in 1970 to celebrate the RAAF's 50th anniversary, and have been a permanent team ever since.
