Day 2 : Ballarat - Creswick - Ballarat
Today we make our way to Creswick and visit the Creswick Woollen Mills. And have a tour. Our experience entails   “A Very Fine Yarn” showcases the journey of fibre; all the way from its source on the alpaca, through the manufacturing process and how it ends up on the shop shelf.  We will be having lunch while we are at the mills in the café. We will have to meet our resident alpacas and purchase Australian products made right at the Mill.  Traveling back to Ballarat, we have time to Visit the Eureka Centre. The Eureka Centre engages visitors in the compelling story of democracy. Stories are told of the ordinary men and women, past and present, who have fought for the democratic freedoms which Australians enjoy today. We then make our way back to the motel for dinner. (B D)
Day 3 : Begonia Day
Today we visit the Ballarat Begonia Festival. Regional Victoria's largest flower festival, the Ballarat Begonia Festival, attracts more than 60,000 spectators annually. Held on the Victorian Labour Day long weekend this three day event has something for everyone. Flowers, celebrity gardeners, markets, entertainment, kids' activities and a community parade. This afternoon we visit Sovereign Hill which is a historic open-air museum that brings to life the excitement of Australia’s great 1850’s gold rushes. (B D)
