Day 1 : Adelaide - Renmark
Your chauffeured car will pick you up from home (in the metropolitan area) and drop you at Aust wide tours depot for our 9am departure.  We head off on our river ramble from Renmark to Goolwa.  We take the Sturt Highway to Truro for our first comfort stop.  Then its along to Renmark for lunch (own expense). After lunch we board the coach and make our way to Headings Cliff Lookout. You will see uninterrupted views of the Murray floodplain with its ancient Red Gum and Box tree country. Then onto The old Customs House which was built in the 1900s and served as a excise collection point for goods crossing the Murray (the Victorian/South Australian border).  We make our way back to Renmark and check into the motel before dinner. Day 2 : Renmark to Loxton
After breakfast we board the boat and head for Paringa, going under the 'lift' bridge, then on through lock 5, past Lyrup. Lunch is served onboard on our way to Berri. Onwards through lock 4 to Katarapko Game Reserve, past Media Island and Kamikaze Flats. We arrive in Loxton and have time to freshen up before dinner. (B L D)
 
 
Day 3 : Loxton - Waikerie
We board the boat after breakfast and cruise to Moorook, Cobdogla and onto Kingston-on-the-Murray. We leave the boat and board our coach to Banrock Station overlooking their acclaimed wetland development.  A video presentation, talk and wine tasting here is followed by lunch before returning to the boat. We go through lock 3 and onto Overland Corner seeing the varied riverbank scenery before arriving in Waikerie for Dinner, Bed and Breakfast. (B L D)
 
 
Day 4 : Waikerie - Mannum
After breakfast we reboard the boat to continue upstream through lock 2 to Cadell. We continue onto Morgan and hear from members of the local historical society about the history of the area. A light lunch in the old railway station at Morgan before we go through lock 1 at Blanchetown, on our way to Swan Reach, Walkers Flat. Here we transfer to our coach to be taken to our accomodation in Mannum, where we have a delicous Dinner and comfortable bed. (B L D)
 
 
Day 5 : Mannum - Goolwa - Adelaide
This morning after a hearty breakfast, we board the 'Spirit of the Murray' at Walkers Flat and head for Bow Hill. We cruise past spectacular golden cliffs passing Mannum on our way to the City of Murray Bridge and Tailem Bend. Lunch will again be served on board. On the way to Lake Alexandrina (Australia's largest freshwater lake) you will view willow lined river banks and farmland. After traveling downstream and passing the town of Clayton we will arrive in Goolwa where we will end our river experience and board our bus back to Adelaide. A restfull bus ride back to Adelaide will have you back in our depot at 5.30pm where your car will be waiting to take you home. (B L)
