eBrochure / Itinerary   Christmas Lunch on the Murray River Cruise     1 Days - Departing Friday, 12 December 2025 Travel Club Members $125 Non Members $135 Tour Includes: Coach To Murray Bridge and Return River Cruise &  Yummy Christmas Lunch     Come and join Aust-wide Tours as we cruise the Murray River enjoying the scenery and Christmas lunch aboard  the Captain Proud.  Captain Proud was originally built as the Proud Lady in 1977 and worked as one of the original showboats on the Port River. The vessel was rebuilt after a fire in 1987 and renamed Captain Proud in 1989. In 1993 the vessel entered the River Murray from the sea at the Murray mouth near Goolwa and travelled to Echuca. The Captain Proud has now returned to Murray Bridge where it used to trade since 1995.  Captain Proud features an Air Conditioned Dining Room with Licensed Bar, as well as seating on the second level Fore and Aft decks. Captain Proud is a real side paddle wheeler. It's only means of propulsion are the paddle wheels either side of the boat.      DEPARTING 101 Muller Road Greenacres 8.15am (LIMITED lock-up carparking available at own risk) or NORTH TCE, ADELAIDE (in front of Intercontinental  Hotel) 9.00am RETURNING 4.30pm APPROX.
