Day 1 : Adelaide - Pandana - American River
Your chauffered car will pick you up from home and drop you off at Aust -Wide tours depot 101 Muller Rd Hampstead Gardens for our 6.30am departure to catch the early ferry. We travel through Myponga and Yankalilla on our way to Cape Jervis. On arrival we board the ferry and sail to Penneshaw, Kangaroo Island. At 150 kilometres long and 55 kilometres wide, the island is Australia's third largest. Morning tea is available for purchase on the boat. Once on Kangaroo Island our first visit is to Cliffords Honey Farm to view some glass hives of the "purest strain" of Ligurian bees in the world, and taste some honey. We then visit Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Oil Distillery, and see the distilling process. We stop at the Parndana Community Club for a well-earned lunch break (supplied). Our packed day continues with a visit the Parndana Wildlife Park. We make our way to the motel with time to freshen up before dinner and retiring in your own time. (L D)

After a cooked breakfast pick up your camera and board the coach and start the day’s touring with a visit to Seal Bay, one of the only places in the world where you can stroll through the seal colony. Vivonne Bay is on the way to Flinders Chase National Park enjoying breathtaking views of Yacca Flat and coastal scenery on our way to the spectacular Remarkable Rocks and stroll around to view the magnificent shapes carved by the wind and ocean spray over many centuries. Drive past the ruins of the early settlement at Weirs Cove before going on to Cape Du Couedic Lighthouse, built in 1906, and the natural bridge that forms Admirals Arch, looking out for New Zealand Fur Seals frolicking in the water, then concluding the tour at the motel with dinner.
