Day 1:                              Adelaide - Port Augusta                      D
Your chauffeured car will pick you up from home for our 9.00 am departure. Today we start our trek to The Red Centre and right through to Darwin. Seeing some of the spectacular scenery that make this country the best to be in. Our first stop will be Port August where we take time out to wander through Wadlarta Outback Centre and The Arid Lands Botanic Gardens before checking into the motel

Day 2:                          Port Augusta - Coober Pedy                                                        B,D
We pack the coach and make our way to Woomera for a morning break and have a look at the Missile Park. You can wander through Missile Park and gaze  at rockets on display. Time to move along to Glendambo for an early lunch. Driving the next leg of the day, arriving in Coober Pedy we visit the underground church and town lookout before checking into the motel

Day 3:                                  Coober Pedy - Alice Springs                                B,D
We travel the sturt highway through Marla, Kulgera and Erldunda and onto Alice Springs which will be our home for the next 3 nights. Lasseters Casino 08 8950 7777
 
Day 4                                               Alice Springs - MacDonnell Ranges                                            BD
We tour into the red earth country where we explore part of the ancient weathered West MacDonnell Ranges.  We visit Simpson Gap National Park with its steep side ridges, huge Ghost Gums timbered creek flats and scenic rocky gaps. Our next stop is Standley Chasm a spectacular nine metre cleft in the West McDonnells. Walk through the valley with its sheer towering walls and pre-historic cycads. We return to Alice Springs, via the “Flynn of the Inland’s” grave, a monument to his life and work in creating the “Mantle of Safety” over outback Australia. This afternoon we visit the National Road Transport Hall of Fame. We see the first road train as well as much more. Time to make our way to our motel for a well earned rest before dinner .We will be picked up for a Outback bush BBQ and Dinner Show. This fun filled evening of entertainment and outback cuisine is set in the remote and isolated East MacDonnell Ranges. You will tuck into a mouth-watering meal of prime Australian beef, the best the land has to offer. Enjoy a cold beer or wine from the Aussie Bush Bar while an authentic bush balladeer sings timeless Australian songs underneath a chandelier of stars.  
                          
Day 5:                            Alice Springs                                       B
Today we make our way to The Royal Flying Doctors. It will satisfy the most curious of mind. You can discover what it's like to be inside one of the aircraft and look inside a replica fuselage of a Pilatus PC12. There is a large display of historic medical equipment that would have been used on the RFDS flights of the past. A range of model airplanes used by RFDS will take you through the different aircraft used through the decades. The Reverend John Flynn, founder of the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS), has been brought back to life to tell the story of the foundation of the world famous aeromedical service. We continue to familiarise ourselves with Alice springs with a visit to the Old Telegraph Station dating back to 1872, once a repeater station on the Adelaide to Darwin Telegraph line. Returning to the city we take in ANZAC Hill Lookout giving us spectacular views over the city.  Lunch can be had in the city centre before we visit the Alice Springs Desert park with all it’s natural flora and fauna  from the Red Centre Desert region, and enjoy a fascinating Birds Of Prey demonstration in the natural theatre. At the conclusion we will be taken back to our accommodation  Tonight you are free to try one of the many restaurants at Lasseters
 
Day 6:                            Alice Springs - Tennant Creek        B,D
We farewell Alice Springs and travel along the Stuart Highway over the tropic of Capricorn  and past Mt Stuart The Geographical centre of Australia and onto Barrow Creek and stopping off at the Devils Marbles for a wander and a photo stop before arriving in Tennant Creek for our nights rest.

Day 7:                                Tennant Creek - Katherine                   B,D
After Breaky we continue north past Renner Springs onto Daly Waters. We visit the Daly Waters Hotel the towns attraction for tourists is the famous pub, which is decorated throughout with banknotes and other memorabilia left by visitors from every corner of the globe. The historic pub was licensed in 1938 to service passengers and crew from the nearby airfield. After lunch we make our way to Mataranka Thermal Pool with time fore a refreshing dip before we arrive at Katherine.

Day 8:                                    Katherine - Kakadu         B,D
This morning we venture to Katherine Gorge National Park. The deep gorge carved through ancient sandstone by the Katherine River is the central attraction of the Park so we have a  2 hour cruise on the Katherine river through some spectacular gorges. Leaving Katherine we travel to Pine Creek, known for the gold mining in the area.  Here we leave the Stuart Highway to make our way into Kakadu National Park.  This World Heritage-listed national park is internationally famous for the breath-taking natural beauty of its wetlands, escarpments and spectacular waterfalls, as well as its more than 50 000-year-old Aboriginal cultural heritage.  On the spectacular Yellow Waters cruise, float among the peaceful water lilies to view the vast array of bird life, and maybe some of the crocodiles for which the park is famous.

Day 9:                              Kakadu -Darwin                          B,D
After breakfast, we visit the Cultural Centre and wander through the displays and exhibitions, we gain an understanding of the Aboriginal traditional land owners of Kakadu National Park.  Travelling on towards Darwin, we take time to cruise the Adelaide river, from the safety of our motor vessel, watch the famous “Jumping Crocodiles” in action.  A feast of birdlife can also be seen above the danger of the crocodiles; and wild pigs and buffalo are often seen darting in and out  of  the tall grasses along the river banks.  The Arnhem Highway takes us back to the Stuart Highway, and then it’s onto Darwin for the next three nights.   Oaks Motel: 1300 542 502
 
Day 10:                                               DARWIN CITY SIGHTS                                       B
This morning we board the coach and see the sights of Darwin including Darwin Botanical Gardens,
Darwin Military Museum, Darwin Museum to view the Cyclone Tracey Exhibition and Fannie Bay Gaol Just to Name A few.  We will return to the motel with time to freshen up before dinner. You will be free tonight to try many of the restaurants in Darwin city
 
Day 11:                                                                 FREE DAY                                                                B                                                     Today is free to do as you wish or join one of the tours to other parts of the Top End. You have the chance to try one of the many restaurants in the city centre for dinner tonight
 
DAY 12                                                     DARWIN - KATHERINE                                                     B,D
We travel to Batchelor, gateway to Litchfield National Park. Here we visit the fascinating magnetic termite mounds and Florence and Buley Rock Holes. We continue through Adelaide River, pausing to view the War Cemetery, resting place of some 434 WWII service men and women, before arriving into Katherine and our home for the night, Contour Hotel Katherine: 08 8972 1744
                                                
DAY 13                                                  KATHERINE - KUNUNURRA                                               B,D
Today we travel to Victoria River and Timber Creek, founded in 1835, cross into Western Australia We gain an extra 90 minutes today as we enter the Western Standard time zone and travel through to the town of Kununurra. Home for four nights.  Hotel Kununurra 08 9168 0400
 
DAY 14                                    EMMA GORGE - CHAMBERLIAN GORGE                                  B,D
El Questro is a privately owned wilderness park, originally established as a cattle station that encompasses one million acres. Accessed via the Gibb River Road, a former cattle route, we journey into the park to Emma Gorge Resort on the banks of Emma Gorge Creek. Some time to explore the Resort before we drive to nearby Chamberlain Gorge. Only accessible by boat, this 3km waterhole teems with wildlife and offers spectacular views. Then returning to Kununurra
   
DAY 15                                            LAKE  ARGYLE  &  ORD  RIVER                       B,D
This morning we travel up to Lake Argyle. and visit  the famous Durack Homestead. This afternoon we see the Hydro Power Station, which supplies Kununurra, Whyndam and Argyle Mine with electricity. One of the highlights of the tour is a 60km cruise down the Ord River,  arriving back at Kununurra on sunset.
 
DAY 16                                                           KUNUNURRA                                                              B,D                                         Passengers have the opportunity to book on a spectacular sunrise Bungle Bungle flight over the “lost world” of unique and fascinating beehive-like striped rock dome formations breakfast (approx $399 when pre-booked with your tour). Today we visit Hidden Valley National Park with its 350 million year old rock formations, enjoy a short walk through part of the park. We take a look at some of the quality produce grown in this area.  We view the irrigation projects. We also see the Diversion Dam and visit Ivanhoe Crossing, the Zebra Rock Gallery..
                                                  
DAY 17                                                KUNUNURRA - HALLS CREEK                                         B,D              
We depart Kununurra and make our to Western Australia’s most northerly town Wyndham. We visit the 5 Rivers Lookout which gives spectacular views of the Cambridge Gulf where 5 Rivers enter. We overlook the Port facilities where produce such as live cattle, sugar, minerals, fruit & vegetables are shipped from Kununurra to many Asian Markets Afterwards we make our way to Halls Creek

DAY 18                                                    HALLS CREEK -BROOME                                            B,D

Discover some interesting facts about Broome’s pearling industry this morning as we take the pearl Luggers tour an informative view on the pearling industry then we have a tour around the town. Visit the Japanese Cemetery and Chinatown. View the port area, and enjoy a day of “Broome Time”  This evening we make our way to Cable Beach, where we should see a spectacular sunset, and perhaps enjoy a Camel Ride on the Beach (own expense). Dinner at own expense, perhaps Fish and Chips at Sunset Cafe.
 
Day 20                                                      BROOME FREE DAY                                                            B
Today you are free to do as you wish. Simply put your feet up, or you may want to join one of the local tours for the day, including The Horizontal falls flights. We travel the Great Northern Highway at the western edge of the Great Sandy Desert. Lunch today at the Sand Fire Roadhouse before we continue to Karratha, established in 1968 on Nickol Bay to service the Hamersley iron ore project.  Our home for the next 2 nights

Day 22:                                                               KARRATHA                                                                 B,D
We board the coach and travel to Roebourne and Cossack, first port in the North West, now a “ghost town” with several restored public buildings. We then take time to look at Dampier and  visit the North West Shelf Venture Visitor Centre.   Here we see the story of the Western Australian oil and gas industry

We continue along the North West Coastal Highway through Cane River Conservation Park to Nanutarra Roadhouse, our lunch destination. During the afternoon continue to Carnarvon

Day 24:                          CARNARVON - CORAL BAY - CARNARVON                                         B,D
We travel North to the idyllic seaside village of Coral Bay and Ningaloo coral reef, the longest in Western Australia. Enjoy a glass-bottomed boat cruise in these pristine waters. (Note: Due to tides, we may be required to wade out in knee deep water to board the cruise. Reasonable fitness and appropriate clothing and footwear required). Later we return to Carnarvon on the Gascoyne River

On to Peron Peninsula and Denham. Visit Hamelin Pool and the stromatolites, the world’s oldest known living organisms. Later we travel to Monkey Mia, famous for its bottlenose dolphins, which interact with humans at the beach.  Monkey Mia Resort 08 9948 1320

We retrace our steps to the North West Coastal Highway and then make our way to Kalbarri. We stop off in the Kalbarri National park and view,  Hawkes Head Lookout , Ross Graham look out, Murchison River and the Skywalk. Day 27:                                                KALBARRI - GERALDTON                                                   B,D
This morning we visit Rainbow Jungle, a beautiful parrot habitat and free-flying bird aviary, Rainbow Jungle is regarded as one of Australia’s most beautiful bird habitats. We make our way to Geraldton, taking in the spectacular coastal scenery that saw the demise of many sailing ships including the scenic lookouts of Island Rock, Natural Bridge and Red Bluff, past Hutt River Province. Hutt River Province seceded from Australia in April 1970 and is of comparable size to Hong Kong. On arrival in Geraldton we take in the Sydney Memorial before we check into the motel.

Day 28:                                                GERALDTON - PERTH        B,D
This morning we follow the scenic coast road through Leeman, Green Head and Jurien Bay to Cervantes and onto the Pinnacles where thousands of spectacular calcified spires (shell deposits) formed around 25,000 years ago are scattered over 400 hectares of multi-coloured sands in the Nambung National Park. Day 29:                                                              PERTH                       B
Boarding the coach we visit the Perth Mint where we will see Gold pouring demonstrations and Gold Nugget and coin exhibits. Kings Park is our next stop, with its beautiful flower beds and scenic lookouts. This afternoon we visit AQWA- the Aquarium of Western Australia where we can explore the Western Australian coast line in just one day from the icy waters of the southern ocean to the tropical wonderland of coral reefs in the far north. Time to make our way back to the motel for a well-earned rest. Dinner tonight is at your own expense.

We farewell Perth and make our way to Northam and onto  Merriden for our lunch stop. After lunch we continue to Kalgoorlie via Southern Cross before checking into our motel.

Departing our motel we make our way to The Super Pit Lookout which reveals the enormity of the mine, we then visit Hannans North Tourist Mine. While you have lunch in the city Centre, there is also time to visit the WA Museum of Kalgoorlie Boulder: After our time in Kalgoorlie we travel to Norseman for a drive around town before checking into the motel.
