Day 1
: Adelaide - Naracoorte - Hamilton
Your chauffered car will pick you up from home and drop you at Our Aust-wide tours Depot 101 Muller Rd Hampstead Gardens, for our 7.30am departure. Time to head off for 5 days of sightseeing and fun. Today’s route takes us on the Dukes and Western Highways, passing through the towns of Coonalpyn and Keith, then on to Naracoorte for lunch (own cost). Boarding the coach we continue through Penola and Casterton and on to Hamilton for our overnight accommodation. Dinner at the motel. ()
Hamilton ~ Botanical Motel
Day 2
: Hamilton- Wickcliff - Hamilton
We load up and off we go, Traveling the Glenelg Highway through to Wickliff and visit Narrapumelap Historic House. Built in 1873, Narrapumelap Historic Homestead is one of rural Australia’s finest examples of French Gothic Revival Architecture. We are given a comprehensive guided tour of the mansion with stories of the original owner's personal history and descriptions of the important features of the house along with a commentary on the epic journey of the house’s restoration. We pause for a lite lunch then have time to wander. Returning to Hamilton we stop at the Ansett Museum. Is based on the Ansett company’s first aircraft hangar. Centre pieces of the display are a Fokker Universal aircraft, similar to the one used on the first Ansett flight in 1936, and a 1928 Studebaker and much more. Our last strop of the day is Campe’s Motor Museum is every motor enthusiast’s dream come true. Founded more than three decades ago, the museum is home to vintage cars and an array of motor memorabilia. Time to wander back to the motel and freshen up before dinner. ()
Day 3
: Hamilton - Keith - Adelaide
Time to farewell our hosts and make our way home. After another country-cooked breakfast we pack the coach and leave Hamilton, travelling through Casterton and over the hill to Penola for our cuppa then ourr lunch stop at Keith (own cost). Feeling refreshed we continue the journey back to Adelaide with comfort stops along the way and returning approx 5pm where your Reliable car will be waiting and we say goodbye until we see each other on another tour. ()
